Rescue and Treatment

Rescue and Treatment

Our Rescue and Treatment Program helps dogs who have been injured or are sick.

Community members often notify us of the illness or injury, and a vet and an animal care officer provide emergency care to the dogs on the scene.

If we can treat the animal at where they are located, then we do.  Otherwise, our facility has 32 kennels that are used for rescue and treatment. Every dog that comes through our facility gets vaccinated against rabies and is spayed or neutered and dewormed.  Since 2004 we have aided over 2,000 animals.
