How to Care for Your Cat:
Cat Housing

Do not leave your cat in a cage. This can cause severe behavior problems. If you do this because he is behaving badly, it will probably make him worse. If he makes a lot of noise or seems aggressive when in a cage, he is stressed and unhappy.

• At all times, your cat must have access to shade and water.

• Every night, and whenever it’s cold, your cat must also have bedding and shelter, such as a box with blankets and a pillow. Many cats feel safe in high places, so try putting the cat bed on a shelf or cupboard.

• Do not leave your cat outside without access to shelter if it may rain.
