Adopt a Dog or Cat

Rescued stray dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in Nepal available for adoptionSave an animal's life and have a new best friend – for free!

The KAT Centre's Rescue & Treatment programme provides lifesaving care to many stray cats and dogs. Due to their injuries and illnesses, some of these animals will never be able to fend for themselves on the streets again. Others receive treatment for so many weeks that they lose their 'street smarts' and become dependent on people to feed them.

Many of these dogs and cats (including puppies and kittens!) who have been rescued by KAT are currently living at the Centre, hoping to be adopted into a forever home. Some adopters are from other countries and bring their pets back home with them. In most cases, this is a fairly easy process.

'Hats off to everyone involved, from the vets to the volunteers to the cleaners of Kat Centre, trying their level best to make the lives of sweetest souls better and beautiful. It was amazing to see everyone so committed to their work.'
 – Nishant Jung Shah from Kathmandu
